My student prepared speech

LOCAL FRUITS

GOOD MORNING TO OUR HONOURABLE JUDGES, TEACHERS AND FRIENDS. I AM ______________________ FROM SRK ST. JAMES KUDAT. MY TOPIC TODAY IS ABOUT OUR LOCAL FRUITS.
DID YOU EVER DRINK PINEAPPLE JUICE? OR MAYBE WATERMELON JUICE. HOW DO YOU FIND THE TASTE? DO YOU HAVE YOUR CHOICE OF FRUIT JUICE OR YOU JUST LOVE TO EAT IT JUST LIKE THAT. THERE ARE SO MANY LOCAL FRUITS THAT WE CAN USE TO MAKE OUR FAVOURITES FRUIT JUICE. BUT IN WHATEVER WAY WE EAT THOSE FRUITS IT STILL WILL BRING GOODNESS TO US.
FOR ME, I LIKE TO DRINK GUAVA JUICE, ITS TASTE SO DELICIOUS AND SWEET. BEST TO DRINK WHEN IT’S CHILL, ESPECIALLY DURING HOT AND SUNNY DAY. MY MOTHER WILL HELP ME MAKING MY FAVOURITE JUICE. SHE WILL SERVE IT WITH SOME ICE CUBE AFTER SHE MIXES IT TOGETHER WITH SOME SUGAR. THE GUAVA JUICE ALSO VERY GOOD FOR OUR DIGESTION TOO. MY MOTHER ALWAYS TOLD ME TO EAT MORE FRUITS THEN OTHER FOOD LIKE CHOCOLATE AND ICE-CREAM BECAUSE FRUITS WILL NOT DAMAGE OUR TEETH OR MAKE US FAT. FRUITS WILL HELP ME TO KEEP MY TEETH FOREVER.
WE CAN FIND LOCAL FRUITS ALMOST EVERYWHERE IN OUR COUNTRY. THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF LOCAL FRUITS, ONE IS THAT ITS ONLY PRODUCE FRUITS DURING THE FRUITS SEASON, SUCH AS DURIAN, RAMBUTANS, MANGO, LANGSAT AND SO MUCH MORE. THAT’S WHY WE CANNOT FIND THAT TYPES OF FRUITS WHENEVER WE WANT TO. WE NEED TO WAIT FOR THE FRUITS SEASON TO COME ONCE A YEAR. THE OTHER TYPE IS ITS PRODUCING FRUITS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, LIKE BANANA, PAPAYA, PINEAPPLE, GUAVA AND MANY MORE. THESE TYPES OF FRUITS WE CAN FIND OR BUY IT WHENEVER WE WANT IN THE FARM OR MARKET.
OUR FRUITS PLANTER ALL OVER MALAYSIA HAS PRODUCE FRUITS WITH THE HELP FROM OUR KEMENTERIAN PERTANIAN MALAYSIA. THEY HELP ALL FARMERS ON HOW TO CULTIVATE THE FRUITS PLANT APPROPRIATELY. THEY GIVE THEM FERTILIZER AND POISON IN ACCURATE QUANTITY. THIS WILL MAKE US SURE THAT WE EAT HEALTHY FRUITS.
AS A MALAYSIAN, WE ALL SHOULD SUPPORT OUR OWN LOCAL FRUIT INDUSTRY. LET US CHANGE FROM EATING APPLES AND GRAPES TO MANGOS AND JACKFRUITS. LOCAL FRUITS NOT JUST JUICY, SWEET AND GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH, IT ALSO MUCH CHEAPER THAN OTHER IMPORTS FRUITS. WE CAN EAT IT FRESH FROM THE FRUITS FARM AS IT EASY TO FIND IT IN OUR OWN HOMETOWN.
SO LET’S EAT LOCAL FRUIT EVERYDAY. IT’S GOOD FOR YOU AND FOR OUR COUNTRY.

Secret Recipe

Portuguese Baked Fish

2 teaspoon chili powder
¾ cup oil
5 fragrant lime leaves, very finely sliced
1 teaspoon sesame oil
¼ teaspoon soy sauce
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon sugar
Banana leaf
Aluminium foil
1 whole fish, weighing about 750 g

Spice Paste
3 onions
6 red chilies
1 scant teaspoon dried shrimp paste
1 cm galangal
2 lemon grass
5 candlenuts
1 cup water

Chop spice paste ingredients then blend finely with water. Mix in the chili powder and lime leaves, then fry gently in the oil for about 5 minutes. Combine with the sesame oil, soy sauce, salt and sugar. Mix well and leave to cool.
Cut a large rectangle of banana leaf and brush with oil. Cut down the underneath side of the fish from tail to head, flatten with your hand. Slash down either side of the back bone from head to tail, release the fish flesh from the bones and allow the spice to penetrate. Rub the cooked spice paste all over the fish, pushing it well into the slits.
Fold the fish in a package in banana leaf and wrap again in foil to secure it.

If it seems like it could cause more harm than good, don't do it without consulting your doctor first. If a treatment makes your headache worse, or if you experience other symptoms, stop the treatment and contact your doctor.
*Chronic tension headaches can often be treated with lifestyle changes such as stress management, regular exercise, and/or dietary changes. If these regimens don't work, your doctor may prescribe preventive medication to deal with these headaches.
*If you get a bad headache, eat a little food and watch the telly. Do something to try and forget about it for awhile. It won't be as noticeable when you remember it again.
*Smiling can work wonders if it's just a minor headache. Smiling takes less muscles than frowning, so even if the reflex is to frown due to pain, smile it off.
*If painkillers can't help you then consider what you have been doing, identify possible triggers and avoid them.(do this only when you have mild headaches).
*Sometimes it helps to relieve a headache if you get some sleep, in a quiet,dark room.

FRIEND AND ENEMY

Never put too much trust in friends, learn how to use enemies.
JUDGEMENT:
Be wary of friends - they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical. But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact you have more to fear from friends than enemies. If you have no enemies, find a way to make them.

Stress Experiences

YOU EXPERIENCE STRESS BECAUSE:-

CAN YOU CHOOSE ONE? IF YES...YOU DO HAVE STRESS...MANAGE IT BEFORE IT EATEN YOU UP.

The Monolog

The day has past, and here I am...thinking about my future. My life, my family, my best friend, my love and my career. I want...to have a normal life...like many others married, happy and success. I have struggle but maybe not enough, I pray and also still not enough...there are many things that I want in life. Its weird to have someone you love so much and so perfect for you but still cannot be yours. Its also funny to work so hard but still you cant satisfy yourself...and people. Its also sad when you put trust on someone who you always think is your most special friend but betray you...It seems all has gone wrong. It is easy to forgive but never easy to forget. BUT...life goes on...

The unfinished business

The day I received a phone call... from Pn. Sakinah was the day that I thought I already can enjoy my holiday. My assignment hasn't complete yet,she said...there two more assignments for Theatre In TESL...the performance (drama) and the monolog. The lecturer want to see us perform online by Monday and it was Thursday. God knows hows my heart was, beating so fast as I can hear it tru my ears. That time, my school have two important meetings...the question is....how am I going to survive this test?....Time is my greatest enemy now.
